The ThermoGenesis® Plasma Thawing Systems

ThermoGenesis has built up a loyal world wide customer base since 1987, when the first blood plasma freezer was delivered to the American Red Cross. ThermoGenesis prides itself in the knowledge that most our new customers are refereed to us by satisfied existing customers. Now with the introduction of the MT202 to our family of thawers, we can accommodate even the smallest blood bank.

The ThermoGenesis Thawing Systems combine a new technological innovation with a simple user interface. The Universal Key Pad, run on proprietary software, immediately puts you in control. Easy to follow set up commands, in your choice of language, guide you through several personalization options and allow you to change operational settings as required. Then simply press "Start" and your ThermoGenesis Plasma Thawer will do the rest.

At the heart of the system is a patented long-life membrane pocket which is designed to accept frozen plasma bags of various sizes. The polyether-urethane membrane, a spin-off from NASA research, has a far lower insulation factor than normal PVC and greater resilience and elasticity. Its toughness eliminates the need for overwrap and provides excellent containment for bio-hazard leakage from broken plasma bags.
